An exploration into audio and visual patterns created by a Knight's tour on large board. The timing of each note was determined by the direction the knight moved to arrive at that space. Two octaves of a D-flat diminished (octatonic) scale were mapped onto the grid to determine the notes.
A Knight's Tour is the path a Knight or Horse (in chess) takes to visit every space on a chessboard exactly once. The tour is calculated using Warnsdorf's rule.
